Studio Information

Agricultural Audio studio is based on a working arable farm, 2 miles north of Lewes in East Sussex. Please make yourself at home, this is much your space as mine whilst you are there.

The studio is, of course, inside & heated. However, the kitchen facilities are open to the outside air (though undercover), so do check & dress appropriately for the weather. Comfy shoes & layers advised.

Ben will send a day sheet in advance with the agenda for the day, so we all have a rough idea of what to expect.

Facilities

Tea, coffee, dairy, oat milk & drinking water are all provided. We have basic kitchen facilities – kettle/fridge/freezer/microwave/toasty maker at your disposal. Due to its rural location, there are no shops nearby so please bring anything you would like to eat for the session with you. Hungry artists are unhappy artists.

There are 2 basic toilet cubicles with running hot water at the far left of the barn. Sanitary products are provided.

Using the above address in Google maps will take you directly to the studio. The studio is off the B road that runs through Hamsey, down a single-track farm turn off. We are about quarter of a mile down the track, so don’t be alarmed if you feel like you are heading to the middle of nowhere.

Speak to Ben in advance to discuss any travel arrangements you may need help organising.

The nearest train station is Lewes.
